84. THE REAL QUESTION: why DON'T THE REPUBS WANT TO INVESTIGATE?
That, to me, is the real issue here.
on the face of it, this should be a republican issue: security.
Since it isn't, that means ALL the republicans are in on it.
that means, there is another agenda, that they aren't saying, but they ALL buy into and agree with.

Now, it COULD just be that they want softball questions at press conferences...that's the most innocent possibility.

OR it could be more sinister: Gannon could be extorting higher ups, higher ups could be using him to extort others, including the press. OR it could be he's a CIA operative. Obviously, he has unparalled access to senstive information (shock and awe, Plame)

Since the more sinister possiblities REQUIRE bipartisan investigation because of the national security risk, and they have not been ruled out, THEREFORE the entire republican contingent, at least of this committee, ARE KNOWINGLY COMPLICIT in breaching or allowing to be breached national security.

the real question is: WHAT DO THEY KNOW?

It doesn't matter about the gay porn, it matters because the of the security risk.

This should be shouted from the rooftops: what do the republicans know?
