47. and we will
if we keep swatting the hornet's nest.

I sometimes wonder if maybe the Bush admin. actually believes their lies about WMD, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they were behind 9/11, and if they are staging another attack to "rally" the country. But I'm not so sure people would buy into it this time around. Consider this:

Bush dubs himself the "war president" who "protects the homeland." Many people re-selected him because they didn't want to "change horses in the middle of a war," and they somehow believed that Bush was doing a good job protecting the country since we haven't been attacked by 9/11. Now, if we have another attack, I think people will realize that he hasn't protected us. If anything, the Iraq war and Bush's policies actually put us in harm's way.

What we have to do is hold this administration accountable. We have to reprimand our reps who voted for Condi Rice. We have to support those like Boxer who have spoken out from the start. We CANNOT settle for this "Oh, we had faulty intelligence. Whoops." Let me tell you, if you were at your job and cost the company millions or billions of dollars because you twisted the facts or didn't have adequate information, you would be FIRED!
