"DC 9/11: Time of Crisis" - My Favorite Scenes
September 9, 2003
By Smokey Sojac

Those of you who skipped the Showtime original film, "DC 9/11: Time of Crisis" missed a veritable landmine in celluloid history. But don't worry - here are the highlights, just because you asked so nicely...

"Trust me...the air is completely safe to breathe."

"Pay no attention to that plane... it's just the Bin Ladens going back to Saudi Arabia."

"Buy duct tape and plastic wrap!"

"I pledge to kill more innocent civilians there than the terrorists did here."

"Enron was all Ann Richards and had nothing to do with me... honest!"

"….then the pet goat said to the little girl...."

"Ha ha ha! Lucky me! I hit the trifecta!"

"Anybody want to buy a photo of me sitting on Air Force One looking brave? It's only $150."

"Try to look more upbeat when I come back for the Convention in 2004."

* Not George W. Bush but an incredible simulation of George W. Bush. Timothy Bottoms as Our Great Leader and John Henley as megaphone-stricken firefighter Bob Beckwith.
