6. Perhaps the reason they don't care

About women being lured, tricked, or trafficked is because they don't view women as fully autonomous living breathing people.

It just struck me that it sounds like the same attitude some had about slaves prior to the civil war. They thought it wasn't wrong because they thought blacks weren't the same as the whites who enslaved them. They thought they weren't actually fully human.

So for these men in the article, maybe it is OK to do whatever they want with women because that's what women are here for and they don't fully count as human anyway.

I know some men who really think about and treat women this way. We are an alien species that is different from men and we are here to be acquired and used as they see fit. We are lesser so it is the natural order.

Simple reducation wouldnt work because it goes against everything they have been indoctrinated in since birth. And society still glorifies women as sexual objects so it gets continual reenforcement that women are there for fucking and for their "use".
