The Paul Ryan factor: Florida donors lead 72-hour cash blitz for Romney

Naming Paul Ryan as his running mate has been a plus for Mitt Romney‘s fundraising in Florida and elsewhere, the Romney camp says.
In the first 72 hours after Romney announced the House Budget Chairman as his VP choice, the Romney campaign says it logged $7.4 million in online contributions.
Florida was the biggest supplier of post-Ryan cash, the Romney campaign says, with more than 8,000 Sunshine State contributors combining to give more than $620,000.
Ryan is expected to make his Florida debut somewhere in the central part of the state this weekend. Specifics have not yet been announced.
