4. I think this essay is racist

Because here’s the thing about white people: They hate dealing with race—are incapable of dealing with it, in large part. Have you ever seen a white CEO stand in front of a black audience and tell them how much he “cares about diversity”?

Plenty of white people can talk about race in a meaningful way. A white CEO would not be my standard for a white person who can talk about race.

Dumb.

Furthermore, I disagree that "Southern food is a big bucket of deep-fried awesome." Anybody can deep fry or slather something in butter and call it delicious. It takes a real culinary genius to made food delicious without relying on fat and sugar.

Paula Deen is a cheater, relying on fat and sugar so people think her stuff tastes good. She has no real knowledge of cooking.

Here's another statement by this author that makes no sense:

She knows exactly where she screwed up and why, and to have to face that with the whole country watching?

She has no idea how or why she screwed up because she does not understand human equality. She really does look at skin color, not the person and soul in that skin. The clip of her asking her black friend to stand away from the black board is an example.

This is a very contrived essay. I think the writer was forced to come up with something for deadline, had nothing, and this is what you get.
