In reply to the discussion: Trump’s Strategy Makes Perfect Sense — And It’s Diabolical [View all]IronLionZion
(45,380 posts)It's his supporters and the leaders of the white power movement. The movement is much bigger than Trump. They are merely hijacking his campaign as a way to advance their ideology. It is awakening something that has been long simmering. Many people resent diversity and immigration. It used to be they hated Irish and Italians and so on but now they have so many more types of people to blame for their problems and they don't care if we were born in America to US citizen parents. It's not about citizenship or birth. It's all about white power.
Remember Bush was such a miserable dumb ass yet his people managed to invade 2 countries and spend trillions of our tax dollars on stuff that just doesn't help anything or anyone and ruined our economy. Billions of dollars are still unaccounted for and just missing. Of course it wasn't Bush doing it.
Trump and Bush are way too stupid for their diabolical strategies. But their people totally know what they're doing.
And anyone who can't see how a movement can get far outside the control of the candidate, just take a look at Bernie Sanders and what happened with a significant portion of his supporters continued after he endorsed Hillary and promoted unity in our party.
The Republican party used to be the party of Lincoln, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, etc. Look how radical extremists have completely changed their core values.
Trump already warned us with his favorite phrase: "There's something going on".
We know there are millions of people who are heavily armed and angry and bitterly blame us for their problems.
