12. Good day in Florida

The GOP took a beatdown on their 11 constitutional amendments with only 3 passing, as the others flopped. The three Fla Supreme Court Justices that stood up to the GOP won retention despite being bombarded with GOP outside money. Grayson is returning and West is leaving! Nelson like Sherrord Brown in Ohio, sustained massive attack ads from Crossroads and romped over Connie Mack. The DEMS made up ground in the FLA House and Senate basically eliminating the GOP Supermajority. In my country Pinellas (ST. Pete, Clearwater Beach etc,) for the first time in fifty years a standing GOP County Commissioner (actually 2) was knocked off. The county commissioner thing was really cool, we had two GOP Tea bagger Commissioners that removed the fluoride from the counties drinking water because they said it was a government overreach to tell people that they needed fluroide. THe dentist down here went nuts and The St. Pete Times called them the Fluoride Four, well now two are gone, one is changing his vote and the other will be gone next year because he said he is staying loyal to the Tea Baggers. Change is happening in Florida, although it is small, it will eventually turn into a massive snowball.
