4. Anything Possible

For one voter ID laws will effect a lot of women. And it will effect older women the most. It will also effect a lot of college students who are women. If you can use the media to make local elections close all you have to do is stop a small minority of voters to win. The local elections are the most important.
We are political activists in the Democratic party. There are lists of voters and how they voted and where they live. If you have a lot of money you can target certain voters. You can intimidate, misinform, distort and deregister voters. In the last election our Demo candidates had volumes of lying mail, email, and robocalls directed against them. We have seen voters given wrong days and precincts to vote in. We have a Secretary of State who tried to stop mail out ballots being delivered in Demo districts because they had not voted in an election earlier. We have seen attempts to have voters purged who were coincidently Democrats.
The GOP is very imaginative in suppressing voting. I understand that what I am saying seems preposterous. I do believe that the GOP is going to engage in illegal tactics and this election will have a lot of election fraud from the GOP side.
It is pretty easy to scrub rolls in GOP controlled states. The GOP establishment is as ruthless as the Nazis were. They will stop at nothing. I would not believe what is happening except I have been following patterns for over 30 years now. I know that I probably sound extreme, but from my own point of view I have every reason to make this comparison.
The GOP has said again and again that they will be the ONLY party and they are more determined than ever to make sure only Republicans can vote.
Anecdotally, I was talking to an individual who held very high office in Colorado and in Washington last week. He told me that he knew of a lawyer who was in the DOJ during Bush's administration. This individual failed to support an initiative and was fire. To this day the GOP has so blackballed this person that they cannot get a job anywhere in the US. They may never work again.
These people are vicious, hateful and ruthless. Murder is even an option for them as far as I am concerned.
