Correcting yet another bullshit meme [View all]

Last edited Fri Apr 29, 2016, 11:21 PM - Edit history (1)

from the Clinton side of the aisle.

http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/election-2016-campaign-money-race.html?_r=0

Bernie Sanders did not out spend Hillary Clinton.

This NY Times link provides the breakdowns.

Clinton has raised 262.7 million dollars. 186.7 was raised by the candidate, and 76.0 was raised by SuperPAC's and other Pacs. Clinton has spent as a candidate 157.8 million combined with the 31.5 million spent on her behalf by SuperPAC's. That totals 180.3 million dollars. That is 21 million dollars more than Sanders has spent raising only from individual contributions and non-Pac sources.

She has spent more money than Jeb Bush whose SuperPAC's spent a whopping 109.1 million dollars on his campaign. She has raised and spent more money than any other candidate this primary season.

Any other 'truth' than this is a smear and attempt to create a lie about Sanders in order to push some bogus Brockian memes here and elsewhere.
