(insert derogatory term) want to take away your bacon! That's a great example of what can happen when you insist on breaking down the barrier between church and state.

no, but the ones in charge do--and I don't hear a lot of the faithful challenging the hierarchy

I stopped going to organized church long ago. I still believe and will at times watch a mass on tv.
