They are grasping at straws, the writing is on the wall 9 months out and it's an ugly story for the GOP. They're going to throw everything but the kitchen at the wall and see if anything sticks.

They're down to weak garbage like this. They're last hopes are being pinned on gas prices going through the roof and killing the economy.
