11. OK, didn't mean to insult you

but you have to admit some of your other viewing had me suspicious that you had watched it.

I do like "Engineering an Empire" and seeing all the solutions Rome found to the problems inherent in crowded cities over a thousand years before the same thing occurred to the rest of us in northern Europe.

For some odd reason, I was impressed by the row of stone toilet seats at the Baths, running water in a trench carrying away the waste and down into the sewers.

However, there is no earthly way I could watch "Ancient Aliens." My foot would be through the screen and I can't afford a new set. Just a glimpse of those idiots running around in green light while they breathlessly describe..uh..nothing much in the promos is enough for me. Thank goodness the promos are short ones.
