over the years and I can say that I never brought up my lack of beliefs but I can tell you that a lot of theists sure let me know of their religious beliefs. When asked, especially in the community I live in, it would not be a wise thing for me to bring up my atheism, both for my safety and people just turning their back on me, which has happened.
