Do you think you'll try go catch the transit of Venus as well? I'm looking forward to that, but I'm really afraid that I might miss it either because of weather, or more likely, that I won't wake up even if I set an alarm. You'll be able to catch a bit of it towards sunset where you are though.

I used my Nikon D50 with the normal UV filter.......on the 23 to 250 mm zoom lens.
