60. If you read it they way I do

the OP is referring to some who have questioned whether his atheism is just because he doesn't "get" religion. He is saying that since many atheist were religious once, we do in fact, "get" religion. And thinking that we are just to blind to see "the truth" is what is really insulting.
Quite the opposite, many atheist know about religion more than the faithful. Maybe it is this knowledge which has lead us to not believe.
