the cayes off the coast. I stayed on Ambergris. I don't dive but it was fantastic snorkeling and the water is beautiful. Best of all it is a casual place where you eat fresh lobster, walk around bare-foot if you wish, and many of the hotels don't even have tv's in the rooms (or huts). Paradise.
