Why do you always disparage gun owners?
You can't always just walk away from a confrontation as much as you might try.
If you are making the conscious decision to carry a firearm, then you better be prepared to use it in self defense if it comes down to it, if your'e not prepared to use it, don't carry it.

One more thing, who cares how often you find yourself in these situations, just one time is enough.
