....like yours. Officers are presumably TRAINED on gun safety and if this family can have an accident ANY family can regardless of the training.

Trained. Presumably. Oh yeah.

I took a handgun class alongside an NYPD plainclothes cop who couldn't get his pistol back in his holster because his t-shirt tail kept getting stuck in with it. This was not a safe situation. He was a numb-nut. Numb-nuts exist, and they are impervious to training. The suggestion that because a numb-nut does something, anybody is likely to do it is ... stupid.
