Our guide was a naturalist/historian who has been paddling up there for over 20 years. It was nice being three layers of lakes in, no motor boats, no other campers/paddlers for 7 days, no cell phone signals. Some of the kids went through electronic withdrawl but they survived.
Plenty of loons, but our side trip through Toronto is a different story.
