for you to vote as well (and in fact they are becoming a great deal more difficult for this Presidential election). In many states you must register to vote before a certain date- if you miss it, you probably won't get to vote. Same with different regs for I.D. to vote. And residency requirements. And for mail-in ballots. And for provisional ballots. It should be obvious that different government activities have different requirements and will require more or less time, and more or less jumping through hoops. She got her gun. All we're talking about here is how long it took her to get it. Her 'civil right' to purchase a firearm was respected.
