We took my Mom (91!) again (year 3) to the annual Sons of Norway, Lutefisk and Lefse feed in Van Nuys, CA.
They serve the lutefisk, meatballs, boiled red potatoes, cream gravy, peas and carrots (really? Is that Norwegian?), pickled beets, rye crisp and rye bread AND lefse. Dessert was a shortbread cookie, an oatmeal/raisin cookie and a rice cream (I think it's this, Norwegian Risengrynsgrøt) with a bit of berry sauce (lingonberry?).
LOVE the lefse...NOT so much the lutefisk!
...bought 6 bags of lefse for the freezer and the holidays.
And, it was fun!
