29. both the jews of Palestine and the intifada i resistance were similar....

which is why both had gains:

both used violence in a very limited fashion that was designed to produce a limited measured reaction from the occupation forces that would eventually produce their withdrawal.

both succeeded, the crew from Intifada I simply couldn't complete the mission when arafat came back and started intifada II which was not limited violence
