19. Why would anyone ever use such crap as vinyl siding? Ugly, drafty, poison.

We do not need multibillion dollar corporations to plane wood, make nails, make concrete, or brick.

The actual plants where these are made tend to have fewer than 20 employees.

But my real point was the cooperation of labor working together without payment in money, just for the promise of labor in the future for your project.

I have a degree in economics, and I can assure you that the purpose of forming large corporations is to make prices higher with oligopolistic practices. No one can claim progress when two or three or four people in a family must work full time to get the same things one used to.

I'm not insane, but I have built more than 100 houses in my lifetime with no more than three other people helping.
