1. Sounds like they are tossing whatever they can think of

at the wall, and hoping something sticks. As long as it get publicity, nothin's gonna stick as far as the public is concerned. Not even "If you're not with us, you're with the hackers".

About 3 months ago I read a G&M article claiming that Bill c-30 was dead. The next day Toews rebutted it saying that it was very much alive.

Just recently, the Government was exploiting the suicide of Amanda Todd to introduce Anti-bullying legislation that included ending online anonymity with respect to social media.
