(51,907 posts)We will have a room with audio visual stuff set up where original material can be aired. Bring on usb stick, cd, dvd or have your you tube links ready to go. We will have sign up sheet to allow folks to reserve and block time to show stuff and lead discussion if discussion ensues.
We have some local musician content (great, by the way) that we will also be playing in the showcase room.
We have to be careful about licensing. We would prefer to show open source, creative commons licensed material or use publicly available content on the internet under fair use license as part of discussion process.
Thanks
Mike
Videos are the 'frosting' on the cake. They are visual and auditory and usually well done. For an opening I suggest John Perkins cartoon video. Before Jill's speech Alice Walker's poem would be nice. The closing to 'inspire' action and 'creation' there are several good short videos like Sacred Economics or Solutions section from THRIVE. Do see meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday? Mary
