Mt Adams was visible occasionally as well, but it was kinda 'shy' compared to the other two. I lived in Portland before St Helens went *BOOM!*, and it was so beautiful & symmetrical. I visited afterward and was shocked at the scale of destruction on the mountain and surrounding countryside.
