2. The patient was a 70-year-old man who he had not seen in years.

Dr. Gilbert was the kindest, sweetest doctor I ever met. He once saw my son (when he was 4) at his house on a Sunday for a problem. Who knows what motivated the 70-year-old, if anything. All I know is if that man did not have a gun, Ron would be alive today. And his wife and young kids wouldn't be planning a funeral today.
