I finally read this thread. This is really exciting.

There are plenty of closed steel mills that could be moved into and reopened under this model.

There are also alot of rusty-looking mills that are operating way under capacity of what they used to produce. Some of them have been sold off to foreign companies like Russian or Indian steel companies.

These locations are all ripe for the picking (is that the right word?) as far as people being able to move in and operate the mills.

I really don't have words to express how much I want this to succeed.
