9. My dad passed away from heart failure when he was only 64...I was 27.

I loved the guy, and miss him.

When I was working days and taking night classes for classical piano, my father would pick me up twice a week from my class (which was about 10 miles away), and we would listen to classical piano—along with great conversation.

At home, he would relax in a dark corner and smoke his pipe while listening to me play piano...and request his favorite one each time.
I cherish those times.

He was also a Christmas freak, which I carry with me: and each year that open the boxes of ornaments, lights, etc, I remember his childlike love of the winter holidays.
