I can totally relate to your progress as I watch my 91-year old father hanging in there with a nasty neurological genetic condition called Marie Charcoth Tooth syndrome. Basically, it's a foot-flop and ankles and calf muscles become increasingly weakened. But every day he straps on his leg braces and cruises around a long hallway, using a 4-wheel walker.
I bet you're much younger than he is, and pretty soon you'll need that same 4-wheel walker. They come with seats attached, too.
You must feel heavenly - quite an accomplishment. Please keep us updated on your future progress...we're all rooting for you.

Granddaughter was in a wheelchair on and off for a year.. three knee surgeries. she is fine now.
