5. I wrote this novel and couldn't finish it

But my 50th birthday spurred me on to get that done and one other thing I'd always been wanting to do.

So maybe you can get yourself feeling mortal at whatever age you're at? Think about how old you're getting! You don't want to die with that incomplete!

A bit morbid, but it did work for me! Now the thing is finished. Even if never published, it's something I can say I did.
