I took a couple days to get that. This time of year is "sunset season" the light is good almost every day and as long as there are a few clouds you get grat color. One day I got a few ocotillos in a "regular" sunset pic and I thought "hey yeah, a little different take on the stereotypical saguaro cactus shot"
my back kind of went out on Tuesday and I haven't been able to sit for very long (or do anything else for that matter) for several days, but Friday night I got a call about some cattle on the road - the neighbors HA HA! and had to go take care of it. That got me into the truck so I went ahead and checked some waters and other "patrol" duty" that had been neglected for a few days. The clouds were good and I found a slope I could park on mostly below the ocotillos so I didn't have to get out of the truck. I am real good at lazy!
