2. Nudity--It can be liberating,

for you, if you try it in a safe setting. I live in the New York area, and once I went to this ginormous spa place called Spa Castle. I was waiting in the women only area while my friend had several lengthy treatments done. To use the women only sauna's and pools you have to be totally nude! I was so self conscious for the first fifteen minutes, as I will never be mistaken for a fitness model! But, as I stopped keeping my eyes to myself, and actually LOOKED at the other women, all strangers to me, I felt better about myself, and I saw all the beauty around me in all shapes, sizes, ages, and races. There certainly were women with figures that men would drool over, and more who might inspire derision....but, no one cared! I don't know if it was because it was women only, or the vulnerability of being nude, but I saw no competitive posturing, or heard any nasty comments. We were all relaxed, kind, and feeling very mellow. Never were strangers warmer to me in conversation, or more cooperative in sharing a communal space. It was a hell of a shock, as I am used to the rude and crude attitude you commonly experience on the street! Every teenage girl should be taken there, or some place similar, in my opinion. I think women would be a lot less judgmental to each other, and a little less harder on themselves in regard to body identity.
