he was off a guest ranch that shut down, some girl bought him and probably he wasn't pretty enough for her. the guy that helps here got him from her, thinking since he was so big and stout he might be good to rope wild cattle off of, but he was really too old for that kind of rough work and I had asked him to keep an eye out for a couple of kid horses for me...so I traded some heifer calves for him. figured he would be good for 3 to 5 more years. just rotten luck is all.
