2. Funny how other countries' postal systems are not having this problem.

Canada, Germany, Britain, France, etc. all have postal systems (6 days a week) and the internet, yet they aren't bleeding red ink. They charge higher rates for stamps, yet their societies have not collapsed. Here, Congress won't even discuss higher rates. They would rather strangle the postal service than allow it to cover its costs.

This is intentional action on the part of Congress.
