1. Getting into the "pollutant" argument is a typical denier trick.

It's deflecting by equivocation. "Pollution" is defined differently by dictionaries. It can be something that has unwanted effects.

And the larger argument is to "teach the controversy" of which there is little among climate scientists. It's the result of propagandists like Morano (that's his name?) that the general public is so confused. The studies he cited were not peer reviewed scholarship.
