For at least 25 years while the rich have continuously done extremely well. My balance approach would be to cut the military industrial complex by 50%, increase taxes on the wealthy and cut loopholes, institute a trade tax on Wall Street, negotiate RX drug prices down for Medicaid/Medicare and put the savings in SS. I would also withhold for SS starting again at $250,000 on up. Too bad reality enters the picture and we cannot come close to doing these things due to rampant corruption of our politicians and our political process.
