Go look at the string of SEC cases settled against the banks. The banks are paying big bucks and in exchange they get to avoid all criminal cases and say "we do not acknowledge crime occurred, but we will never do it again." Then they turn around and do it all again.

Listen, Obama will fight the GOP over whether a gay couple can get married but he won't fight the banks to prevent a bank from taking that couple's home illegally or taking their pension monies or confiscating their trading accounts or lending the TBTF banks ZIRP money while they charge that couple 32% on their credit card balance.
