the churches. (re the abortion clinic bombings)
There are violent people everywhere, who belong to all sorts of groups. The abortion clinic bombers are all white men, but that doesn't mean that white men in America sanction that terrorism. I'm sure the theater massacre guy belongs to some group, but that doesn't mean that group sanctioned his massacre.
Uganda - I remember reading about that before. I just checked, and it is the government, not the church, that has introduced a "kill the gays" ban. Yes, some influential evangelicals have been inciting anti-gay attitudes, but not church sanctioned, and not inciting murder. It is the government.
