It appears that the race is a dead heat at the present time. The election of Romney would appear to give the Republican extremists a mandate to enact legislation that would cut federal programs that many rely on for their very survival.

I can't help from fearing that it could lead to actual revolt. Perhaps this is what it will take for working class Americans to realize that they are in a war for their very survival. I see that the unions are waking up to the fact that their existence could be in jeopardy if Romney is elected and pushes for a national "Right to Work" law. Republican controlled legislatures have already attack Americans' right to vote with extreme measures that will have the same effect as the Jim Crow suppression of voting. He has promised the extremists right wing that he would do all within his power to repeal Roe vs Wade, support of Planned Parenthood, the financial reforms measures, get the Blunt amendment passed along with massive tax cuts for the rich.

If he is elected I believe that there is a real possibility of riots and total collapse of civil order.
