The problem is that Obama is not being vocal enough until just recently. One would imagine that the problem is deficit spending. The Occupy Wall Street Movement has now given Democrats a counter weight. But let me ask this question?
Shouldn't Obama as President with the powers of the bully pulpit been doing this almost three years ago? Reagan used the bully pulpit for his agenda.
"Change We Can Believe In' is not simply legislation passed. If that were the definition Obama's record is rather mild.
Health Care Reform but no public option. Cheaper Canandian drug importation banned while Walmartization from China continues.
Bank Reform: Banks paid off their loans by charging middle class Americans usury rates. Now this has not ended BUT we can read the rates in larger print! No not change we can believe in. Also the practice of leveraging is now only mildly insured rather than banned.
Don't forget off shoring and the reduction of the middle class tax base. Obama has done a weak job here.
The REAL issue is has Obama worked to make the center more liberal or has he worked to change his image to being centrist.
