45. They were not raised together

The man was removed from the home when he was 3 years old and adopted and raised by another family. As an adult he looked up his birth family and moved in with his mother and 16 year old sister. The mother soon died, and the couple became involved with each other.

The incest tabook is imprinted on people who grow up together in the same family. Lacking that, so-called genetic sexual attraction may kick in. Those people that tend to be attracted to people who are like them will find the similiarities in a close genetic relative to be very compelling.
