I think it speaks volumes about the entire conservative "movement".

These are the people who would strip health care and food stamps from the needy while preserving Medicare for themselves. When shopping for a candidate, they seek the most non-compassioned examples available. All others need not apply.

Imagine if a liberal told a veteran: "Thank you for your service". "Is that all you've got?"
