All companies do this--it's all about profit, which is why they sell bad loans for bonuses, with exploding payments at the end, knowing they'll fail, then package them as loan swaps and sell them to sucker muppets.
I get that the guy worked there for a long time. I feel like he's not getting any credit for finally coming over from the dark-side, into the light. You've got to give him some credit.
Personally if I ever won the lottery (right, that's going to happen, since I don't even buy tickets, and even if I did...) I think I'd rather invest myself.
