BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A Brunswick City Commissioner is behind bars. A local pastor tells Action News, James Henry Brooks Sr. was arrested at home Thursday evening.
According to the Glynn County Jail, Brooks is charged with influencing a witness and obstruction of a law enforcement officer. He is in jail under no bond.

Action News also captured video of Brooks walking with the Elkins family in front of the courthouse on Monday. Brooks told Action News he is related to De'marquise Elkins.
At this time, police have not said whether the charges Brooks faces are linked to the Brunswick baby murder case.
