5. Gun buybacks do work. They worked in Australia and can work here.

Cities do them all the time and collect thousands of guns. Maybe there's a Nancy Lanza out there just waiting for a chance to get the weapons out of the house. Banning the sale of assault weapons along with a national buy back would go a long way to reduce gun violence. Really, just common sense.
