2. Wouldn't a gun necessarily have to

have been sold or manufactured by the entity buying back to actually be a "buy back"? The gun control leaders can never quite say what they mean it seems...i.e. "gun show loop hole". etc..

No, a complete waste of money. Old ladies turning in their dead husband's Iver Johnson .23 caliber will never have an effect on anything except maybe for the touchy-feely types...criminals and people who buy guns for whatever reason won't be turning their guns in for a Wal-Mart gift certificate unless the gun is worth $40..

People who believe "gun buybacks" are an answer or is reasonable, simply haven't a concept of what 300,000,000 guns and 100,000,000+ gun owners, means..

Oh, and "law enforcement agencies all the necessary resources to prevent gun violence"...law enforcement rarely "prevents" anything. They investigate crimes which have already been committed, by definition. It is hard to take someone with such a basic lack of understanding seriously when making ludicrous proclamations..
