It boggles the mind. What is in this group of bills that has gun owners so upset? Most gun owners already buy guns through dealers that require a background check and it doesn't seem to adversely impact their ability to obtain all of the guns that their trigger-happy hearts desire. Do gun owners, who have been getting by just fine for centuries without high capacity magazines, now feel that they are unable to enjoy their guns unless they can fire 50+ rounds without having to change out magazines? Why are these infinitesimally tiny things worth fighting so fanatically over? I can only assume that they're buying into the NRA's deranged brainwashing that Obama is coming to take their guns away, a paranoia so completely contradicted by reality, it renders it all but impossible to have a rational conversation with persons so deluded.
