Got it on sale over the holidays. With the memory I needed I got a deal. I record music.
But the retina display with the small amount of SS memory and no way to insert a dvd or cd was a deal breaker. At this lower price they will move more product. If apple wants even more sales they need to lower the prices of the others across the board
